The Venue at Turkey Ridge|Heather & Riley

What an amazing day celebrating Heather and Riley at the Venue at Turkey Ridge. This backdrop truly made for a perfect southern fall wedding. This stunning venue has three main areas: the courtyard, the amphitheater, and the event space which is huge! This venue accommodates up to 300 guests very comfortably- perfect for those planning a larger wedding. See a full list of their amenities here. The cobblestone courtyard leading to the amphitheater with the beautiful stone benches was very well thought-out. This sweet couple decided on three “first looks” which were all so PERFECT. The bride and groom decided on their first look to be in front of the amphitheater which was beautifully lit.

If you are looking for a venue with a barn option here are five reasons why I would consider a venue with a barn.

  1. Rustic and charming atmosphere: Barns can provide a unique and rustic charm that is hard to find in other venues. The beautiful wood, exposed beams, and spacious interiors provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that can create a cozy and intimate setting for your wedding day.

  2. Scenic views and natural beauty: Many barn venues are located in scenic and picturesque settings, such as the Venue at Turkey Ridge. This can provide a natural backdrop for your wedding photos and add to the overall ambiance of your wedding.

  3. Customizable and versatile space: Barns offer a lot of flexibility when it comes to décor and layout. They typically have an open floor plan that can be adapted to accommodate a variety of wedding styles and themes. You can decorate with flowers, string lights, and other elements that fit your personal style. The couple below chose to add a green wall for photos which I thought was a perfect touch to their fall theme.

  4. Accommodate large guest lists: Barn venues are often quite spacious and can accommodate larger guest lists. This can be a great option if you have a lot of family and friends that you would like to invite to your wedding. The venue at Turkey Ridge accommodates up to 300 guests!

  5. Affordable option: Barn venues can be a more affordable option compared to traditional wedding venues. They often have lower rental fees and allow you to bring in your own catering and alcohol, which can save you money on overall costs.

Overall, a barn venue can be a great option for couples who are looking for a unique and charming wedding location that provides a lot of flexibility and customization options. The Venue at Turkey Ridge really “hits the head” when it comes to choosing a rustic barn venue as your wedding venue.

Cheers!
